Prenatal FAQ
Can I start prenatal yoga if I have never done yoga before?
Yes. Our prenatal classes are designed for complete beginners as well as experienced students. Please check with your doctor or midwife before starting any new exercise during pregnancy.
When in my pregnancy can I start?
Many students join in the second trimester, but you are welcome at any stage once your provider says it is okay. Teachers adapt every pose for each trimester.
When can I come back after giving birth?
Most people return about six weeks after a vaginal birth and a little later after a cesarean. Your provider's guidance always comes first. Mom and Baby class is a gentle place to begin.
Can my partner join?
Please ask us. Call or message the studio and we will tell you which upcoming workshops are open to partners.
Yoga and massage are not a substitute for medical care. Please talk with your doctor or midwife before starting any new exercise or bodywork during or after pregnancy.
